Obituary of Betty Fetzer

FETZER– Betty (Sullinger), 83, went home with her Lord and Savior Aug. 20, 2009. Born Nov. 2, 1925 in Indiana County, daughter of the late Clarence Sullinger. Preceded in death by two infant sons; grandsons, Rick Fetzer Jr. and Terry Holcomb; brothers, William, Frank and Kenny; sisters, Edna and Hazel; and son-in-law, Carl Edward Holcomb. She will be missed by her loving husband, Dean, whom she was married to for 66 years this past June; two daughters, Shirley Fetzer and Diane Holcomb; and sons, Barry (Debbie), Rick (Connie), Ron (Lois), Kevin (Carol) and Randy. She also raised her nephew, Scott Fetzer. Betty also was blessed to have 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Helen Costello. Attended Nanty Glo Church of the Nazarene and Nanty Glo Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Betty enjoyed all her family and celebrated life with each of them. She loved crafting and visiting the Amish country and reading about them. She loved to fish and go camping and enjoyed traveling. Her greatest goal in life was to love and enjoy her family. She served Jesus in every way possible. The angels rejoice as we miss her. Betty is now at peace. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Russell J. Havener officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nanty Glo Library or your local library of choice.
