BERNECKY – Frances B. Joiner, 83, a longtime resident of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully August 27, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center. Born March 22, 1926, in Blacklick Twp., daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Treaster) Marsh. Preceded in death by husbands, Fred Joiner and Samuel Bernecky; brothers: Alfred, Ben, Lane, Bob, Arch, Bernard “Bum”, and Wade Marsh; and grandson Chris Joiner. Survived by children: Raymond (Susan) Bernecky, Dennis (Lynn) Joiner, Ronald (Sharon) Bernecky, and Jenny (John) Bernecky-Everett; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and sister Nancy (Marsh) Kaschalk-Bartram. Longtime member of the Ebensburg First Baptist Church. Friends will be be received from 9:00 a.m., until time of funeral service at 10:00 a.m.. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Pastor Douglas Barclay, officiating. Interment at Mount Union Cemetery, Alverda.
