REESE – Clarence O., 71, Latrobe, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Oct. 25, 1938, in Nanty Glo, son of the late George and Barbara Marie (Kelly) Reese. Prior to retirement, Clarence was employed by the Ebensburg Center in Ebensburg. He loved country music and had played in several bands including "Country Mountain Mix" and the "Travelongs." In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Elmer Reese, George Reese Jr., James Reese, Wilford "Bill" Reese, Velma Martis, Howard Reese and Paul Reese. He is survived by his fiancee, Joann Bushyager; children: Bryan Reese, Nanty Glo; Clarence "Frank" Reese, Nanty Glo; Sarah Waugaman, Kenwood; Velma Brittingham, and husband, George, Johnstown; and Barbara Taylor, and husband, James, Mundys Corner; stepchildren, Beverly Farver, and husband, Bill, West Lake, Ohio; and Donnie Odorich, and wife, MiSuk, Tampa, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Reese, and wife, Leona, Loretto; a sister, Lorene Findley, and husband, Russell, Mundys Corner; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Rascals. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Schock officiating. Private interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Nicktown.
