HOOVER – Ruth A. (Cotton), 62 of Colver passed away peacefully September 11, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 31, 1947, in Colver, daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Auton) Cotton. She is preceded in death by brothers William and David Cotton. Survived by husband Clair, to whom she has been married 43 years; daughter Cathy married to Richard Sukenik, Richland; granddaughter Jordyn; sister Winnie Bonora, Jerome; and sister-in-law Jean Cotton, Dundalk, Maryland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Ruth was a lifelong member of the Colver Presbyterian Church where she had been active in the Woman’s Association and Woman’s Circle, and involved in Sunday school. Ruth loved to talk and visit with her neighbors, spending time with her granddaughter, reading and playing search puzzles. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Colver Presbyterian Church, Pastor Charles Blaisdell, officiating. Interment will follow at Lloyd Cemetery
