HENSHAW – Josephine M. (Lesniak), 93, Nanty Glo, died Sept. 27, 2009, at home. Born March 14, 1916, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late George and Anna (Jacubchak) Lesniak. Preceded in death by parents; twin sons; a daughter; three grandsons; brothers, George and Albert Lesniak; and sisters, Ann Batovich, Agnes Lesniak and Martha Crookshank. Survived by children, James (Martha), South Carolina; Joann Noonan, Maryland; Barbara (John) Grosik, Mineral Point; Elizabeth Sporcich, Wisconsin; Ann (Thomas) Bellino, Virginia; Christine (Adam) Roberts, Virginia; and Mary Margaret Henshaw, Dennis and Patricia Henshaw, all at home; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, and Altar and Rosary Society. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held and where the Legion of Mary will say the rosary. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo.
