DINO – Sara F., 94, Ebensburg, died Oct. 5, 2009, at Laurel Crest Manor. Born March 6, 1915, in Windber, daughter of Luigi and Ida (Falsone) Fontana. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Grant; granddaughters, Christy Dino and Monica Gomulka; and sister, Jean Cronauer. Sara was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Survived by children, Grant A. "Tom," and wife, Lorraine Dino, Fremont, Calif.; Larry L. and Nancy Dino, Dilltown; and Rosemarie Gibson, Morgantown, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. Sister of Carmel Morganti, Ohio; Rosie Vicini, Colver; Angeline Carpenter, Johnstown; Christine Masci, Florida; and Rosemarie Shaffer, New Jersey. She retired from Jamesway Corp., Ebensburg, in 1983. Member of Son's of Italy. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum.
