Obituary of Louise Capelli

CAPELLI – Louise (Poliziani), 85, Nanty Glo, died Oct. 23, 2009, at home. Born April 5, 1924, in Colver, daughter of the late Luigi and Lena (Bendanelli) Poliziani. Preceded in death by husband, John; great-granddaughter, Lillian Grace; brothers, Dino, Arment and James; and sisters, Lola Merlo and Virginia Fassia. Surviving are children, Zaira (Ron) Dugan, Nanty Glo; Debbie (Glenn) Bristol, Berwick; Lena Lash (Ed), Vintondale; Mike (Kathy), Michigan; John (Kerry), Nanty Glo; Tom (Patty), Texas; Jim (Wendy), Cresson; Ann Marie Schiller (Steve), Bethel Park; and Angie Impellicceiri (Gary), Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Nick and Missy Dugan; Eric, Mary Beth and Cheryl Ann Bristol; Mark and John Lash; Mike Capelli Jr.; Joni Capelli; Emily, Mario, Katie and Vincent Capelli; Robert and Deonna Capelli; Corey and Maria Schiller; and Emma and Sarah Impellicceiri; and seven great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kolton Dugan, Patrick and Joey Synan, Luke Bristol and Glenn Kline. Sister of Eve Minutello, Nene Altiere, Vicki Schipani, Gildo Poliziani, Lou Poliziani and Dena Poliziani, all of Pittsburgh. Member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo; Legion of Mary; and Altar and Rosary Society. Louise enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a liturgical wake service will be held Sunday and the Legion of Mary will recite the rosary. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Church.
