SERGENT – Doris A., 90, Ebensburg, died Oct. 31, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 28, 1919, in Sagamore, daughter of Royden and Agnes (Gustafson) Seger. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles "Al," in May 1982; son, Larry J., in November 1983; sisters, Glenna Mae Duderstadt, Jennie Seger and Janet Dyson; infant sister, Shirley; brothers, Clair Seger and Robert Seger; and infant brother, Donald. Survived by daughter, Leah Sergent Crichton, wife of James, Ebensburg; grandchildren, Jamey and Jill Suzanne; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Allison, Benjamin and Steven; son, Charles R. Sergent, Carrolltown, was married to Yvonne (Gobris); grandchildren, Justin, Jason and Mandy; and great-grandchild, Jacob. Preceded in death by Charles' best friend and soul mate, Barbara Ann Sherry. Sister of Dorothy Lloyd, Revloc, and Martha Salvetti, Ebensburg. Retired from Ebensburg State Center and worked at the Company Store in Revloc. Family will receive friends from 7 until time of funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery, Northern Cambria.
