Obituary of Shaina Brynne Long

LONG – Shaina Brynne, 13, of Ebensburg, passed away November 11, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 4, 1996 in Johnstown. She is survived by mother, Leslie (Novak) Long and her fiance’ Tim Frank, of Ebensburg; her father Darrin Long, and brothers and sister: Michael and Christopher Long, and Jesse, Josh, and Hope Frank. Also survived by maternal grandparents Gail & Bob Novak, Ebensburg, paternal grandmother Nancy Long, Ebensburg; aunt, Renee Thompson, Revloc, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins as well as her little nephew Evan Frank. Shaina attended Central Cambria Middle School. She was a longtime student of the Bertolino School of Dance, enjoyed collecting her frogs, loved the color purple. She had also been a former member of the AYSO Soccer Program and enjoyed the trampoline and singing in the school chorus. Friends will be received from 12:00 until the time of service at 3:00 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, the Rev. Marie Paterik, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
