ROSE – Harry "Archie," 58, Stafford, Texas, formerly of Ebensburg, died Nov. 28, 2009, in Houston. Born Nov. 13, 1951, in Johnstown, son of the late George and Anna (Karl) Rose. Survived by wife, the former Donna Benge; daughter, Jessica, wife of Blake Gross; son, John Robert Rose; and grandson, Lincoln Gross. Harry was a graduate of Penn State University, retired from Schlumberger, and was recently employed at Houston Sigma Technologies. Member of Surface Mount Technologies and National Council of corvette clubs. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Cemetery, Daisytown, the Rev. Francis Brosius, officiating. Local funeral arrangements are by Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation at www.wish.org in Archie's memory.
