McDONALD - Charlotte (Pryce), 97, formerly of Ebensburg, passed away January 3, 2010 at the Lutheran Home in Westmont. Born March 24, 1912 in Cambria Twp., Mrs. McDonald, was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arthur J. “Mac” McDonald; her parents, Annie E.(Tibbott) and Allen D. Pryce; brothers, Richard L. Pryce married to the former Magdalene (Blair) Pryce and Robert Pryce married to the former Zelda (Richey) Pryce; and sister; Harriet (Pryce) Lawler Schweinsburg married to the former Charles Schweinsburg. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Mercedes Pryce of Johnstown. She was “Aunt Charlotte” to Eleanor (Pryce) Little of Bonita Springs, Florida; Donald Pryce of Vermillion, South Dakota; Doris (Pryce) Pavonarius of Emmaus; Suzy (Pryce) Moyer of Johnstown; Nancy Pryce of Pittsburgh; Christine (Pryce) Webler of Lincolnshire, Illinios; and Priscilla (Pryce) Cox of Erie. She was great aunt to sixteen grand nieces and nephews. She had a long career with the Pennsylvania State Highway Department and the Kinkead Insurance Company in Ebensburg, PA. Mrs. McDonald was a life-long member of the Ebensburg United Church of Christ (Congregational) and a member of the Eastern Star. She was one of the original members of the Ebensburg Bridge Club. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Rev. William C. Thwing, officiating. Entombment in Holy Name Mausoleum.
