Obituary of Frances Romani

ROMANI – Frances, 76, Ebensburg, died Jan. 20, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 26, 1933, in Ebensburg, daughter of Frank and Caroline (Conigy) Domenick. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Mary Hawksworth. Survived by husband, John; and children, David A. Romani and Barbara A. Romani, both of Ebensburg; and grandson, David A. Romani II. Sister of Evelyn Falchini, Ebensburg. Also survived by mother- in-law, Delena Romani, Gallitzin; also special friends, Annette Romani and Eileen Larese. Member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Fran was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Fran was employed as a trained cake decorater in the family-owned business, The Home Baking Co., Ebensburg. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
