FEDORA - Joan L. (Ford), 73, of Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord July
8, 2006, at home. Born Dec. 7, 1932, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late
Joseph Ford and Eldora (Snedden) James, and stepfather, Robert James.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert Fedora. Survived by daughters, Lynn
J., and husband, David McQuay; Vicki L., and husband, Eric Harriger; and
Joanne Kathleen Fedora, all of Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Robert and
Matthew McQuay; Megan Harriger; and William R. Fedora; and
great-granddaughter, Skylar Johnson-McQuay. Member of First Baptist
Church of Nanty Glo, where she was active in the church choir and Ladies
Missionary Society. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral
service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger
officiating. Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu
of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the First Baptist
Church of Nanty Glo.
