Obituary of Eleanor J. Krumenaker

KRUMENAKER - Eleanor J. (Burr), 76, of North Spruce Street, Ebensburg, passed away suddenly March 4, 2010 at Miners Medical Center. Born March 25, 1933 and raised in South Ebensburg, daughter of the late Lewis Richard and Jane M. (Jones) Burr. Preceded in death by brothers John D., H. Owen, and Robert L. Burr. Survived by husband John R., to whom she was married 56 years, daughters Martha J. Krumenaker and Mary E. Harris, and grandson Clifton J. Harris, all at home. A lifelong member of the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church. Eleanor loved music and enjoyed singing in the church choir and had played the violin for the Johnstown Symphony in her younger years. A graduate of the Ebensburg-Cambria High School, Class of 1952 and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday at the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church, Pastor Jim Farrer, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
