SOLECKI – Georgiauann "Jo" (Smith), 75, Twin Rocks, died peacefully March 5, 2010, surrounded by her family at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 30, 1934, in Belsano, daughter of the late George and Minervia (Barringer) Smith. Preceded in death by husband, Stanley, and sister, LaRue. Survived by children, Tim (Darcy), Ebensburg; Cathy (Paul) Bellack, Nanty Glo; Rob (Kim), Tipton; and Natasha McGary (Jim Jr.), Strongstown; grandchildren, Matthew Solecki, Ryan and Jeremy Bellack, Christian and Rebecca Solecki and Gavin and Ava Nicole McGary; great-granddaughter, Lena Sophia Solecki; and special friend, Harold Hess, Johnstown. Sister of Elvia Kopsic, Twin Rocks; Betty (Bill) Trogler, Chambersburg; Grace (Raymond) Lamer, Strongstown; Rich, Mundys Corner; and Larry, Youngstown. Attended SS. Timothy and Mark's Catholic Church. Member of Twin Rocks VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Conemaugh Eagles. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, Deacon James Janosik. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery.
