Obituary of Margaret M. Patterson

PATTERSON – Margaret M. (Petro), 89, Mount Gilead, Ohio, formerly of Nanty Glo, died March 1, 2010, at her daughter's home. Born Sept. 25, 1920, daughter of the late John and Rose Petro. Preceded in death by brothers, John and Steve; and sisters, Rose Ajello and Anne McConnel. Survived by husband, Samuel Patterson, whom she married in 1948; children, Bruce (Lillian) Patterson, Waynesboro; and Christine (Tim) Clapper, Mount Gilead; grandsons, Samuel B. (Mary) Patterson IV, Hastings; Steven Patterson, Waynesboro; Matthew (Rhainey) Clapper, Delaware, Ohio; Michael (Molly) Clapper, Mount Gilead; and Nathan (Shannon) Clapper, Del Rio, Texas; great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Delilah, Gavin and Nicholas Patterson; and Meaghan, Mikenzee and Memphis Clapper; sister, Goldie Tenerove, Wickliffe, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Longtime member of St. John Vianney Church, Mundys Corner. Retired from Jamesway in 1990, after 20 years of service. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, Mundys Corner, the Rev. Andrew Stanko, celebrant. Interment, Spruce Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nanty Glo Food Pantry.
