HOCKENBERRY - Charles M., Jr. “Chuck”, 47, of Colver Road, Ebensburg, passed away March 13, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 10, 1962 in Johnstown, son of Joan Carole Wood. Preceded in death by grandparents Earnest and Christena Wood. Survived by mother of Fallen Timber; wife, the former Bobbiejoe Stephens and daughters: Stephanie (Clifton) Covalt; Heather (Terry) Gallagher, all of Revloc; Jamie Hockenberry, Mundys Corner, and grandchildren: Jaden Watroba, Brenna Covalt and Rylee Gallagher. Brother of Brian Wood, Belsano; Deborah Thomas, Indiana; and Earl J. Hockenberry, Ebensburg. Chuck was the owner and operator of Chuck’s Pizza in Colver. He was a hard worker and an avid Nascar fan. An Army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where a celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Militiary rites by local veteran's organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory may be made to his family.
