KIRKPATRICK – Jeremy S., 27, Ebensburg, passed away March 21, 2010, at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born Sept. 10, 1982, in Johnstown, son of Paul and Susan (Moyer) Kirkpatrick. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Lewis Moyer and Rupert Kirkpatrick; aunt, Cynthia Moyer; and great-uncle, Regis Kline. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother, Shawn (Lynette) Kirkpatrick, Carrolltown; sister, Jessica (Jon) Farabaugh, Ebensburg; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Pamela and Braeden; grandmothers, Marion Moyer, Ebensburg; and Helen Kirkpatrick, Carrolltown; dear family member, Rose Bender; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeremy was a 2001 graduate of Cambria Heights, a 2005 graduate of the U.S. Navy Nuclear Engineering Department and was attending Penn Highlands Community College. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 146 N. Main St., Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, the Rev. Jude W. Brady, OSB, celebrant. Interment, church cemetery. Full military rites will be accorded by local veterans organizations.
