KUNCELMAN – Clair P., 96, Ebensburg, passed away peacefully with his family present March 26, 2010, at his home. Born Sept. 3, 1913, in Barr Township, Cambria County, the son of John L. and Barbara (Duman) Kuncelman. Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 70 years, Mary Verna (Little) Kuncelman, in 2008; two sons, Gary and Ed; four brothers, Walter, Clem, Leo and Olin; and three sisters, Marie Doran, Leona Ragar and Anna May Kuncelman. Survived by four daughters and two sons, Mary Ann Leonard, Weedville; Lois Myers, Indiana; Joe Kuncelman, and wife, Jan (Weakland), Ebensburg; Ruth Stephenson, and husband, Tom, Arizona; Brian Kuncelman, and wife, Barbara (Settle), Ebensburg; and Pam Shaulis, and husband, Shawn, Altoona; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown. Clair was retired from Eastern Gas and Fuel Associates after 42 years. He was the former judge of elections for Cambria County, school board president for Barr Township and former Scout Master for Troop 66 in Barr Township. He was the last surviving member of the John and Barbara Kuncelman family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, Father Job Foote, OSB, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
