RISALITI - Albert A. “Babe”, Sr., 90 of Ebensburg, passed away March 29, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 23, 1919 in Colver, son of the late Adolph and Jennie (Conigy) Risaliti. Last surviving member of his immediate family, he is preceded in death by his brother Nello (Elma) Risaliti and sister Clara (Sylvester) Yulis. Survived by wife the former Iolanda Colamonico, to whom he was married 62 years; children: Albert Jr., (Sheri), Massillon, Ohio; Bob (Carol), Mechanicsburg; Dave (Anne), Ebensburg; Maria, of Austin, Texas; and Monica, Ebensburg. Also survived by grandchildren: Aaron, Erik, Matt, Dominick, Renee, Tony & Allison, great-granddaughter, Samantha, as well as uncle Len (Catherine) Conigy, Ebensburg and aunt Theresa Risaliti, North Canton, Ohio. Retired in 1983, as owner, along with his brother Nello, of the former Risaliti's Garage in Ebensburg with 50 years of service. A World War II Army veteran, where he achieved the rank of sergeant and served as a medic for the 30th Infantry Division, 105th Medical Battalion. A longtime member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Saturday afternoon. No visitation hours are scheduled for Easter Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Holy Name School Angel Fund or the American Heart Association.
