LYTTLE – Erma Irene (Starr), 87, Nanty Glo, died April 23, 2010, at Cambria Care Center. Born Aug. 27, 1922, in Belsano, daughter of the late William and Olive (Dutry) Starr. Preceded in death by husband, Pershing “Tony”; son, William; grandson, Michael Cameron; and brothers and sisters, Ernest, Violet Bush, Mildred Thompson, Eva Grove, Dorothy Duncan and Howard. Survived by children, Arlene (Robert) Cameron, Homer City; Louise (Arthur) Wurm, Nanty Glo; Gary, Poconos; Donna (George) Roland, Pittsburgh; and Karen (Thomas) Holby, Nanty Glo; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Erma was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Attended Nanty Glo Church of the Nazarene. Volunteered at Nanty Glo Senior Center. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Edward Albert and the Rev. Geno Bartoletti. Interment, Pineland Cemetery.
