MALLIN – Ronald Roy, 77, Ebensburg, formerly of Revloc, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered into his eternal life with our Lord on April 26, 2010 at home. Born June 18, 1932 in Munster, son of the late William A. and Ruby K. (Mock) Mallin. Preceded in death by wife, the former Carol Eckhard; son, Thomas; brothers William and Walter. Survived by loving wife, the former Ramona Long Mervine, and children: Debra (Dave) Tutko, Colver; Ronald E., Ebensburg; Timothy (Kate Ellis), Revloc; James (Barbara Leitz), Ebensburg; David (Nicole Kozlovac), Hastings; and Teri (Nick) Gergely, Ebensburg. Also survived by step-children: Jackie (Joe) Mendicelli, Colorado; Tamara (Stanley) Klisiewicz, Bethel; Paul Mervine, Shenandoah; Regina (John) Benson, York; Bettina (John) Gingrich, Port Matilda; Fredrick (Haydee) Mervine, Phillipines; sister Kitty (Steve) Kovach, Revloc, and brother Paul (Cheryl) Mallin, Fallentimber. Ron was blessed with 30 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the US Navy for four years. Early in his career, he was employed by Bethlehem Mines at Revloc, then became a self-employed truck driver for several years until his retirement. He attended the Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene in Ebensburg. A special thank you is extended to the Medi Home Hospice for the excellent care and all of the love that they gave to our family through this difficult time. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Lakeside Community Church, Pastor Bret Metcalf, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. Family requests memorial contributions made to the Medi Home Hospice.
