HOSKINS – George P., 84, Nanty Glo, died May 9, 2010, at home. Born Jan. 15, 1926, in Moss Creek, son of the late Mark and Stella (Miller) Hoskins. Preceded in death by son, Ralph, and brother and sisters, Mark, Margaret, Hazel, Dorothy and Rita. Survived by wife, the former Catherine Romagnino, Nanty Glo; children, Lawrence (Jo Ann), Baltimore, Md.; Jeff (Brooke), Nanty Glo; and Grace Lutz, Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren, Larry Jr., Matthew (June), Teresa, Cortney (Josh), Benjamin, Stephen, Emily and Timothy; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph and Brady; and sister, Gladys Trainer, Rhode Island. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo. Retired from Bethlehem Mine 31. Army veteran and served in World War II. Member of VFW and American Legion, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Martin A. Cingle. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
