KUTCHMAN – John R. “Sam,” 65, Ebensburg, died May 11, 2010, at Rebekah Manor. Born Sept. 19, 1944, in Ebensburg, son of Michael and Marjorie (Brothers) Kutchman. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, the former Jeanne Jubina; these children: Michael J. Kutchman; Christina Roefaro; and Kimberly, wife of Jeffrey Flanders, all of Ebensburg; and grandchildren, Jonathan and Jenna Kutchman, Anthony Roefaro and Jeffrey, Madison and Mackenzie Flanders. Brother of Dorothy Grier, Sudlersville, Md. Retired as a self-employed logger. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and auto racing. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Matevish & Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
