MALLIN – Ronald Eugene, 53, Ebensburg, a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered into his eternal life with our Lord on May 12, 2010 in Ebensburg. Born September 26, 1956 in Colver, son of Geraldine (Tulowitsky) Price and the late Ronald Roy Mallin. Preceded in death by brother Thomas Edward, step-mother Carol Eckhard, stepson David Pyer, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. Survived by mother Geraldine (Jim) Price, Ebensburg; stepmother Ramona Mallin, grandmother, Lydia Tulowitsky, Ebensburg, daughter Teri (Ray) Brown and grandson Josh, Blairsville; step-children: Bobby, Scotty, and Amy Polchito; and three step-grandchildren. Brother of Debra (Dave) Tutko, Colver; Timothy (Kate Ellis), Revloc; James (Barbara Leitz), Ebensburg; David (Nicole Kozlovac), Hastings; and Teri (Nick) Gergely, Ebensburg. step-brothers and sisters: Jim (Jana) Price, Hillsdale, Jackie (Joe) Mendicelli, Colorado; Tamara (Stanley) Klisiewicz, Bethel; Paul Mervine, Shenandoah; Regina (John) Benson, York; Bettina (John) Gingrich, Port Matilda; Fredrick (Haydee) Mervine, Phillipines; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A US Navy veteran. Like his father, Ron was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the gospel singing group The Masters and devoted his life to gospel singing and to his family. A member of the Pennsylvania Gospel Music Association he was well known for his work in assisting song writers in recording master recordings of their new work. He was a member of the Greater Johnston Christian Fellowship. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Greater Johnstown Fellowship Church, Pastor Gary Tustin, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery.
