ROBBINS - Dennis E., 82 of Revloc, passed away May 19, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 5, 1928 in Revloc, son of the late Otis and Dorothy (Harris) Robbins. Preceded in death by brother Otis and sister Beatrice Wagner. Survived by wife of 57 years, the former Ruth Claypoole and these children: Pamela, wife of Thomas Cox, Gallitzin; David, married to the former Denise Fogle, Revloc and grandchildren: Autumn (Greg) Gagarinas and Thomas Cox, Torrence, California; Timothy and Sean Robbins, Harrisburg; Tiffany Fogle, Revloc; and great-grandchildren Ian and Noah Gagarinas. Lifelong member of the Revloc Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder, member of the building committee and choir member. Life member of the Ebensburg Post 4963 V.F.W., as well as a life member and founding member of the Revloc Fire Company. Member of Summit Lodge #312 F. & A.M. Consistory and Valley of Altoona. Dennis retired in 1983 as a survey & safety officer for the former Bethlehem Mines with 33 years of service. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed his family. Friends will be received from 5 – 9:00 p.m. Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the Revloc Presbyterian Church, Pastor Chaz Blaisdell and Rev. Jim Tomb, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. Military graveside rites by the Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
