SHEDLOCK - Helen Louise, 86, of Revloc, passed on peacefully with her family by her side, May 3, 2005 at UPMC Lee Regional. Born January 1, 1919 in Jerome,PA daughter of the late Klemens and Sophia (Knapsic) Yaskowitz. Preceded in death by husband Anthony Shedlock, sister Gladys DeBalli, brother Edward Yaskowitz and an infant brother. Survived by children Carroll & husband Thomas Giovacchini, Hollidaysburg; and Brian & wife Connie (Miller), New Jersey. Grandchildren Tony , Perry & wife Carmen (Gressick), both of Maryland, Nathan and Nick, both of New Jersey. Great Grandchildren Samantha, Dominic and Gabrielle and a great grandchild to be born in November. Sister of Henry & wife Sally, of Revloc; Wanda Hubman, Ohio; Mary Jane Coniglia, Florida; Robert & wife Olive, Ohio; Esther Dunlap, Ohio; Clem & wife Mary, Arizona; Dolly & husband Bob Knee, California ; and Donna Grubb, Virginia. and many loving nieces and nephews. Member of the former Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Revloc, where she was longtime member of the Altar & Rosary Society. Former Sales clerk for Tibbott's Drug Store, Ebensburg. Former Democratic Committeewoman for nearly 40 years. Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9pm Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc, Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday, at Holy Name Catholic Church, the Rev. Msgr Arnold L. Gaus and Rev. Andre Strittmatter, concelebrants. Entombment Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Carmelite Monastery in Loretto, PA.
