LONG – Mary E. (Forcellini), 89, Nanty Glo, died July 12, 2011, at home. Born Aug. 1, 1921, in Santa Guistina, Italy, daughter of Vincent and Josephine (Rolt) Forcellini. Preceded in death by husband, Richard; brothers, Vincent, Ernest and Lindy; sister, Neila; nieces, Jackie Howard and Junelle Adamcik; and great-nephew, Shawn Forcellini. Survived by daughters, Morine Long, Nanty Glo; Dr. JoAnn Long (Jassim) AlAmeer, Bahrain, Gulf of Arabia; and Sabrina Long, Fort Wright, Ky.; sister, Doris Jean Forcellini Kelley, Nanty Glo; sisters-in-law, Tess Forcellini, Nanty Glo; Delores Forcellini, Ohio; and Eleanor Forcellini, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Dean Long, Austin, Pa., and Marty Long, Nanty Glo; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo. One of the original nurses at the Ebandjieff Health Center, Nanty Glo, and was a volunteer there for the last 14 years. Former director of nursing at the Ebensburg State School. Served as an Army nurse during World War II. A 1945 alumni of Conemaugh Valley School of Nursing. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church, St. Vincent de Paul or Conemaugh Hospice.
