CARNS – Patricia A., 69, Revloc, died July 17, 2011, at home, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born June 12, 1942, in Arizona. Preceded in death by stepfather and mother, Earl and Dorothy (Osmolinski) Moore; and brother, Richard Kaminski. Survived by husband, Donald “Buzzy” Carns; son, John, and wife, Lisa Bell, West Mifflin, and their children, Benjamin, Robert and Wilhelm; daughter, Naomi, at home; special aunt, Jane Feighner, Ohio; and numerous other aunts and uncles. Death ends a marriage union of 46 years. Member of Holy Name Church. Pat loved gardening, canning and fishing and camping on the Allegheny River. She was a very good-hearted, loving, caring individual, and would help anyone in need. Pat was in the last graduating class of the former Gallitzin High School in 1960. Friends received from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Wednesday. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice in Pat’s memory.
