PATTERSON – Wilbert C. “Web,” 57, Ebensburg, died July 19, 2011. Born Sept. 11, 1953, in Spangler, son of Jacob and Edith Mae (Blose) Patterson. Preceded in death by parents and four infant siblings. Survived by children, James B. Patterson, Carrolltown; Kelly Jo Remick, Portage; Rodney A. Patterson, Ebensburg; and Kevin T. Patterson, Frederick, Md.; and eight grandchildren. Brother of Jacob “Chick,” married to Sandra Higgins, Alverda; Richard, married to Betty Boring, New Florence; and Robert Patterson, Lilly. Also survived by special friend, Shirley Hooper, Thurmont, Md. Formerly employed as a driver for PennDOT. Vietnam veteran and member of Ebensburg VFW and American Legion. Member of LOOM, Ebensburg. Life member of AMVETS and Nanty Glo Fire Co. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Interment, McDowell Cemetery. Military honors by local veterans organizations.
