POWDERMAKER – Mark Michael, 67, of Ebensburg and a native of Philadelphia, died September 8, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 3, 1944 in Philadelphia, son of the late Mark Morris and Anna (Salmon) Powdermaker. Survived by wife, the former Rosemary E. Keegan, to whom he was married 46 years and children: Andrew (Florence) Powdermaker, Chicago, IL; Jennifer Powdermaker, Los Angeles, CA; and Gillian Faust, Ebensburg. Also grandchildren Aaron Briggs, Collin James and Jamie Brynne Powdermaker, and Elizabeth Ann Summers. Mark was retired as librarian for Bishop Guilfoyle High School, and had been active in the St. Francis University theatre program Star Productions Now. Former assistant leader for the Boy Scouts of America and member of the “Order of the Arrow” in Philadelphia and avid book lover, ferroquinologist, and thespian. Private Funeral Services at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
