NANNA - Lawrence Robert, 66, of Ebensburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2005, while in Colorado Springs, Colo. Born Sept. 13, 1938, in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph and Susan Nanna. Preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters. He is survived by wife, Janet (Simmons), of almost 47 years and children, Chris, married to Leslie (Fulton), Bellefonte; Larry, married to Glenda (Hill), Charleston, S.C.; Susan, married to Ken Fetterman, South Fork; Bradley, married to Donna (Lloyd), Pittsburgh; and Craig, married to Tracie (Unmuth), Reading; 14 grandchildren; brother of Helen, married to Joe Verno, Richland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was an active member and usher of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. He was employed as a sales rep by Pa. Macaroni Co. in Pittsburgh, where he received many awards for top sales. Served with U.S. Marine Corps. Larry was known as a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. We must not forget his famous Italian sausage! He left a legacy for his children and grandchildren and will be loved and missed by all. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, and from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, Elton Road, Johnstown, Pastor Gary L. Tustin officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Little Lambs of Lima Orphanage in Peru, c/o GJCF, 3429 Elton Road, Johnstown, Pa. 15904.
