PASKOWSKI – John W., 86, Nanty Glo, died Oct. 16, 2011, at Cambria Care Center. Born Sept. 29, 1925, in Wehrum, son of the late Myron and Anna (Kozak) Paskowski. Preceded in death by brother and sisters, Mary Paskowski, Andrew Paskowski and Julia Varescak. Survived by brothers, Michael (Dorothy), Mundys Corner; and Joseph, Nanty Glo; and many nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo. He worked for Castelli’s Ford as a salesman and general manager. A U.S. Army veteran. Also a member of American Legion Post 619, Nanty Glo. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held Wednesday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nanty Glo. Veterans service will be conducted by the local veterans organizations.
