STOVER - Hazel A., 87 of Ebensburg, passed away, October 23, 2011 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born July 30, 1924 in Buffalo Mills, daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Poorbaugh) Lafferty. Preceded in death by husband Quentin R. Stover; two year old son, Billy Shuster; and brothers: Oren, George, John, Forrest, Grant, Curtis, and Donald. Survived by children: Mary Joyce (Alton) Smith of Frederick, Maryland; Darlene (Carl) Bish of Indiana; Robert (Debbie) Shuster of Ebensburg; Gregory (Carolyn) Stover of Yellow Springs; Gail (Richard) Makin of Curwensville; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Holler, of Schellsburg. Hazel loved her family and enjoyed being a homemaker. She had assisted her late husband in the family business, the former Stovers Arco Service Station in Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 11:00 p.m., until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Albert Knaggs and Michael DiChiara, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of other memorials, the family suggests contributions to the Circle of Friends, which benefits the Clearfield Hospice, 286 Pauline Drive, Clearfield, Pa. 16830
