LINDROSE – Delores Mildred, 71, Nanty Glo, died Oct. 31, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born June 30, 1940, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Wilbert and Edna (Hileman) Wagner. Preceded in death by brothers, Harry and Glenn Wagner; and foster parents, Frank and Twila Gamber. Survived by devoted husband of 51 years, Larry “Butch”; children, Larry Lindrose Jr. (Lori), Mentor, Ohio; Kevin Lindrose, Nanty Glo; Cathy Olsavsky (Joseph), Friedens; and Eric Lindrose (Laurie), Geistown; and grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Lindrose; Alyssa, Matthew and Zachary Lindrose; Hillary, Nathan and Samuel Olsavsky; and Oliver, Jonathan and Tucker Lindrose. Sister of Charlie, Herman, Ronald and Alvin Wagner, all of Johnstown; and Joyce Dannemiller, Florida. Delores was previously employed by Nanty Glo Dress Factory, Best Form and Blacklick Valley School District. Upon retirement, she enjoyed many years traveling with her husband through at least 45 states, from the east coast to Hawaii, sometimes working along the way, but always enjoying each others company and the beauty of America. Delores was a loving wife, a caring and nurturing mother and grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, camping, auctions and yard sales. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Geno Bartoletti, officiating. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nanty Glo Fire Company or Blacklick Valley Ambulance Association.
