BALAZS - Piroska Irene, 93 of New Germany, passed away peacefully December 9, 2011 at home. Born March 23, 1918 in Marosvasarhely, Hungary, daughter of the late Jozsef and Maria Marx. Survived by sons: Joseph A., of New Germany; Csaba S. (Ann K,), Ebensburg; grandchildren Matthew (Nicole) Balazs and Lauren (Matthew) Mohn; and great grandchildren: Mac, Annie, Jay, and Ella Mohn. A private family funeral service will be held Sunday at the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Jim Farrer, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of other memorials, the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army, Ebensburg Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
