WALTIMIRE – Duane S. “Bud”, 85, of Colver, died June 14, 2012 at home. Born June 7, 1927 in Colver, son of the late Steele and Mary (Holmes) Waltimire. Preceded in death by wife, Genevieve; brother, Lawrence, sister, Mary Scott; stepfather, Philip Bush; and son in law, Paul Campbell. Survived by children, Theresa Campbell; Mary Kay Venet; Daniel and companion Darla; and Virginia (David) Hostetter. Also survived by grandchildren, Paul, Duane, Anna, Daniel, Steele, William, Vickie, Alexandra, Samantha and Zayne;great granddaughter, Presley; as well as his loving pet, “Cat”. Retired from Bethlehem Mines with 45 years of service. Devoted member of UMWA. Formerly employed with C & J Falchini, Ebensburg. Duane enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 10a.m. on Tuesday, Deacon Thomas Buige, officiating. Entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations in Duane’s memory may be made to: UMWA Local 1368, 202 Upper Jackman Road, St. Benedict, PA 15773.
