Obituary of Regina C. Billetdeaux

BILLETDEAUX – Regina C., 80, Cresson, died June 14, 2012, at The Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg. Born Oct. 20, 1931, in Loretto, daughter of the late Joseph and Walburga Marlett. Preceded in death by husband, Vincent P. Jr.; daughter, Linda George; grandsons, Brad and Brett Billetdeaux, Chris Lauer and Dereck George; and brother, Merle Marlett. Survived by children, Vincent P. III (Joyce), Cresson; Patricia Lauer (Mike), Duncansville; Theresa Billetdeaux (Bill), Altoona; and Richard (Tammy), Gallitzin; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Marlett, Cresson; Rose Voss, New York; Margaret Marlett, New Jersey; and Orvita Darcy, New Mexico. Retired as a van driver with Cambria County Office on Aging (CART) after 25 years of service. She also was a former Powder Puff racer at the Cambria County Fair. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, the outdoors and motorcycle riding. Member of St. Aloysius Parish, Cresson. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m., followed by vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Church, the Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Committal, church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
