Obituary of Robert L. Rosky

ROSKY - Robert L., 71, of Ebensburg, passed away July 21, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born December 1, 1940 in Johnstown, son of the late Steve and Betsy "Pearl" (Kirchner) Rosky. Preceded in death by sisters: JoAnn Rosky and Shirley Nihart, and brothers: Mike, Luther & Ross Rosky. Survived by wife, the former Beverly Isenberg, to whom he was married 51 years and these children: Robin Householder, Heston, Pa.; Karen (Tim) Jumbelick, Elizabethtown; Kimberly (Brian) Lieb, Leola; Brenda (Melvin) Ray, Newville, and Bobbi Jo (Dave) Prokop, Ebensburg. Also 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, Sisters Rose Nihart, Suzie Evanshine, and Kathleen Charter, brother John Rosky, and best buddy Sonny (Carol) Bono, of Ebensburg. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ebensburg, where he had served as a trustee. Retired bus driver from Laidlaw. Bob had also been employed for many years for Bethlehem Mines. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and had done a little hunting too. He had also coached Little League and had been a volunteer fireman. Friends will be received from 5 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Pastor Douglas Barclay, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ebensburg First Baptist Church.
