BUCK – LaVerne M., 82, Cresson, died July 19, 2012, at Altoona Regional. Born Jan. 9, 1930, in Cresson, daughter of the late Adrian and Margaret (Latterner) Buck. Survived by brother, Paul; and sister, Patricia Muffie (Ronald Sr.), all of Cresson; sister-in-law, Nancy Buck, Gallitzin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Had been employed at Latterner’s Grocery Store, Cresson, for 50 years, and then at McAuley Hall, Cresson, for 23 years. Member of St. Aloysius Parish. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Church, the Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Committal, church cemetery. Arrangements by Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson.
