Obituary of Leslie Ann Hagerich

HAGERICH - Leslie Ann, 52, of Mineral Point, went to be with Jesus, April 29, 2010 with her family by her side. Born Jan. 25, 1958 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by her father, Walter Zatkos. Survived by her mother, Dolores (Lucas) Zatkos; and daughters, Shannon and husband Jason Paupa, of Pittsburgh and Crystal Hagerich and fiancé Ryan Hopkins, of Washington, PA. Grandson, Chase Paupa. Sister, Suzie and husband Dr. Richard Kastelic, Johnstown; brother, Wally Zatkos and wife Penny, of Monroeton, PA. Also survived by nephews and nieces, Michael, Matthew, Lauren and Danielle. Leslie was always smiling and laughing with everyone, especially with her special silly giggle buddy Mom. All her life Leslie was devoted to Jesus and prayed for her family and friends. She prayed for the birth of her first grandson Chase and was proud to be his baptismal sponsor. Leslie was overjoyed to hear the news of Crystal's engagement to Ryan and will proudly be watching over them at their September wedding. Leslie was a greeter for 12 years at the Walmart in Ebensburg, where her smiling face will be missed. Thank You to Conemaugh Hospice for making Leslie and their family’s difficult journey a little easier. Memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner, Pastor Ron Reed, officiating. Interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
