MERVINE – Clair M., 83, Strongstown, died July 7, 2012, at Cambria Care Center. Born Nov. 9, 1928, in Colver, son of Melvin and Lovella Mae (McDonald) Mervine. Preceded in death by grandparents; parents; wife, Jessie; grandson, Jeffery Robert Mervine; great-grandson, Bryce Holby; brother, Francis; and sister, Velma Findley. Survived by children, Kenneth (Janet), Strongstown; Robert (Mary Ann), Nanty Glo; and Gloria (Dennis) Olsavsky, Nanty Glo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 66. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Sally Bracken, officiating. Interment, Spruce Grove Cemetery, Penn Run.
