Obituary of Eleanor E. Krug

Krug - Eleanor E. (Hite), 96, Coach Manor, Cresson, and formerly of Munster, died July 7, 2005 at the manor. Born June 14, 1909 in Caroll Twp., daughter of the late William and Rose Sherry) Hite. Preceded in death by husband, Archie Leo Krug, sons James & Robert, granddaughters Ann Weakland and Emma Krug; brothers Irvin, Gerald, & Bill Hite and sister Grace Krug. Survived by loving children: Geraldine Weakland, Portage; Richard Krug, New Boston, Michigan; Donna Soisson, Ebensburg; George Krug, Newry; Mildred Bengele, Amhurst, Ohio; Laverne Lythgoe, Mundys Corner; Patricia Sheehan, Ebensburg; Paul Krug, Bellwood; Joe Krug, Portage and Jack Krug, Loretto; Also 52 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Sister of Louise Wyland, Cresson; Martha Dillon, Hastings; Rita Farabaugh, Loretto; and Jean Driscoll of Cresson. Member of the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel in Loretto, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed crocheting and making rosaries in her spare time. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m., Saturday and 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Sunday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Sunday. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., Monday at the Basilica of St. Michael, the Rev. Msgr., Timothy J. Swope, celebrant. Committal at St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto.
