Obituary of William L. Aughenbaugh

AUGHENBAUGH – William L., 66, Coalport, formerly of Revloc, died Aug. 16, 2012, in Altoona. Born April 15, 1946, in Clearfield, son of Kenneth and Mary (Luzier) Aughenbaugh. Preceded in death by father and infant brother. Survived by mother in Revloc; wife, the former Margaret Hoover, Coalport; children, David (Barbara) Aughenbaugh and Tammy (Jose) Gonzalez, both of Baltimore; and Kimberly Brothers, Revloc; and stepchildren, Shawn McConnell, Coalport; and Joshua McConnell, Ebensburg. Brother of Patricia, wife of Richard Tulowitzky, Churchill, Md.; Barbara, wife of Frank Sanderson, Portage; and Helen, wife of James Mills, St. Leonard, Md. Also survived by loving sisters- and brothers-in- law. Army veteran, and a member of LOOM Lodge 681 Ebensburg. He was employed at ACOSTA Marketing, having served the Giant and Martin stores in Altoona and State College. He also was a former service manager at Montgomery Ward Store in DuBois. Friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Saturday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, the Rev. Dr. Francis Brosius.
