BEITER - Gregory, 51 of Johnstown, died peacefully in his sleep, August 24, 2012 at home. Born March 27, 1961 in Johnstown, son of Theodore and Jane A. Beiter. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by his father, Theodore “Ted” Beiter, of Ebensburg, children: Anthony and Nicole; grandson Julian; sisters: Deborah (Robert) Lashinsky, Maryland and Barbara Otolinsky, Johnstown; nieces and nephews: Autumn & Montrell Brooks, and Jessica and Jeffrey Otolinsky; and grand niece and nephews: Shay Lee, Alix, and M.J. Brooks. Greg had been employed as a courier at Memorial Medical Center for thirty years and loved to hunt, fish and quad. Friends will be received from 8:30 a.m. , Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m Tuesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, St. Michael, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
