HARRIS – Robert “Bobby” or “Harry,” as he enjoyed being affectionately referred to by his favorite caregivers, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was 57 years old. Born Sept. 17, 1954, in Philadelphia, he was son of the late Ruby (Harris) Jackson. Survived by a niece, Maurita Harris; and his Ebensburg Center family. Robert had resided at the Ebensburg Center since Aug. 8, 1962. He loved to listen to music and almost always had a radio in his hand. Robert resided in different units throughout his residency at the Ebensburg Center. Most recently, he was transferred to Keystone House, where he quickly won the hearts of unit staff. He will be remembered fondly for his infectious grin and sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg.
