PERSIO – Michael R., 51, Ebensburg, died Sept. 21, 2012, Windber Hospice. Born Oct. 16, 1960, in Florence, Italy, son of the late Philip and Carmella (Giangirolami) Persio. Preceded in death by great-niece, Lydia. Survived by brothers and sisters, Dominick (Ann Marie) Persio, Blandon, Pa.; Nicholas (Jean) Persio, Ebensburg; Gasper (Donna) Persio, Northern Cambria; Patrizia Montecatin, Italy; and Maria Young, Nanty Glo; and special friend, Collette Miller, Beaverdale. He was employed at Fenner Dunlop, Blairsville. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus.
