Obituary of Thomas Hurtack

HURTACK – Thomas A., 59, of Revloc, passed away suddenly September 30, 2012 at home. Born April 4, 1953 in Colver, son of the late Paul J. Jr. and Jennie P. (Monfordini) Hurtack. Survived by wife, Donna L. Reighard, to whom he was married 30 years and these children: Heather Reighard and fiance’ Tony Mezzelo, Carrolltown; Jamie Hurtack and boyfriend Jason, at home; Jacob Hurtack and fiancee’ Patricia Ledger, Nanty Glo; Brett, Ashley and Navaya Noble Hurtack all at home. Also grandchildren: Tony, Brody, Rylee, Lakyn, Aliyah, Bailey, Levi, Brooke and Wyatt, sister Mary Ann Day, Johnstown, nephews Ryan and Landon Day, and numerous nieces and nephews on the Reighard side of the family. Tom was self employed in the construction business for many years, and most recently was employed as a contractor for the Construction General Laborers Union Local 910. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m, Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Deacon Thomas Buige, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tom’s family.
