KRUMENAKER – John Robert, 84, of Ebensburg passed away suddenly on October 13, 2012 at home. Born December 19, 1927 in Revloc, son of the late Norman A. and Mary Alice (Roudabush) Krumenaker. Preceded in death by wife Eleanor J. Burr, brother Norman Krumenacker, Jr., and sister Lee Mellot. Survived by daughters, Mary Harris and Martha Krumenaker, both of Ebensburg; grandson Clifton J. Harris, South Carolina; sister Tracy O’Hara, Ebensburg, and sister-in-law Dorothy Krumenacker, Johnstown. A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, he was a retired math teacher for Central Cambria School District with 38 years of service. A World War II Army veteran, John was a member of the Ebensburg Post 363 American Legion, and Post 4963 V.F.W. John enjoyed gardening in his spare time and was very active in his church. Member of Ebensburg Presbyterian Church, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Jim Farrer, officiating. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Military graveside ritual by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
