DICKSON – Jean, 105, Westville, N.J. formerly of Ebensburg, died Oct. 12, 2012, in New Jersey. Born Sept. 24, 1907, in Cresson, daughter of Carmin Michael and Emma Cecelia (Everly) Butch. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, David Daugherty; second husband, Arvid “Ted“ Dickson; daughter, Lois Daugherty Collins; brothers, Francis Butch, Curtis Butch and Leo Butch; and sisters, Elsie Kennedy, Florence And- reen, Marion Bozzella and Loretta Kinter. Survived by daughters, Joann Daugherty Hanrahan (William), New Jersey, and Sonia Dickson Reidelbach (Frank), Ebensburg; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Formerly employed at Tibbott’s restaurant, owner of Jean’s Cafe and worked at many places in Ebensburg. Volunteer grandma at Holy Name School and volunteer at Holy Name Church. Member of Catholic Daughters of America, Third Order Secular of St. Francis and auxiliary to VFW Post 4963 Ebensburg. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Monday evening. Funeral Mass at noon Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
